Artist's Comments Proving that Winamp 2 skinning scene ain't dead yet Edit: Thank you so much, firstly for all the feedback and secondly for DD :) so much positive feedback makes skinmaking worthwile even though it can be a pain in the ass sometimes :) at first I was going to make a skin based on h2o-'s unfinished project but since he decided to finish it I decided to show you what was the skin going to look like :) [link] as you can see shuffle is somewhat redesigned from playlist titlebar and volume was heavily modified... that's where the similarities end :) anyways I thought you wanted to see what I was working on before I knew this project could never be released |

Artist's Comments *2007 UPDATE* smpl now comes in bright red and pink! 2 colours that were originally created, but never released (Preview updated). *REPUBLISH* 1 New colortheme. A friend of mine wanted an area04 styled version. *ON DD* Thanks for all the support! I, originally, decided to delete this skin, because I wasn't happy with it at the time. A few days ago, however, I found a half done .wsz on a usb-key, opened it up, looked at it and thought - well, maybe it aint that bad after all... And so - I decided to finish it. I was originally just designing this for myself (and I was not going to release it). I wanted to try out something extremely minimal, only paying attention to parts that I actually use myself. So yes, it's not userfriendly and yes, it's pretty "empty" - but thats how I like my skins. I also wanted to limit color and use of flashy effects - therefore I settled for primary cyan only. The skin has no borders, because I wanted to do something tileable. I think you'll find the shademode looks pretty rad when setup like a "stick" ... |
